    That was very informative, thank you. Although a quick Google search for “exciting nomads” did not turn up anything about these shroom ants, so you have a ways to go to back up your claim that this is the “most exciting style of nomadic behavior”.

    How do we know that Euprenolepis procera aren’t just taking a vacation? Or an extended group anty walkabout? Or visiting their version of a summer home? According to the inestimable (and, no doubt, hilarious) Witte and Maschwitz, they “observed migratory lifestyle”. Please, I’m yearning to know how long they observed them!
