In response to the ongoing pandemic, we are producing a short, no-frills daily podcast series: โSocial Insect Distancingโ. For today’s episode, we chatted with guest Dr. Andrew Burkhardt, a Submillimeter Array Postdoctoral Fellow in the Center for Astrophysics at Harvard and the Smithsonian. We hope that learning a little about ants will provide cross-species comfort for anxious human readers!

That was really nice of Dr. Burkhardt to take time to ANTswer those questions regarding the named Ant Nebula. It’s nice to see the work of ANTstronomers. It did indeed reduce some of my ANTxiety during this time of social distancing. It was great incite into what to ANTicipate as far as the life cycle of our own sun. I wish there were more information on your topic. You really should consider completing an ANThology. This type of research is so importANT.
Today is Bob Malarkeyโs birthday. I am so sure he is laughing out loud as he now knows the future of the ant in this world and the Astro world. So proud of you guys.
Grandma Malarkey.
