A peaceful picture for those of you still awake approaching midnight on this calm Saturday night.

The photographer, Alex Wild, notes in the caption that “two Amazonian ant species have overcome stereotypically warlike behavior to live in peaceful coexistence. Crematogaster carinata and Dolichoderus debilis commonly share trails and nest in close proximity.”
May Homo sapiens come to emulate C. carinata and D. debilis!
